A Little Care Goes a Long Way.

Because our soaps are handcrafted, proper storage will help your bar last as long as possible.  Between uses, keep your soap at room temperature and away from direct streams of water and excess humidity.  Allow it to dry completely on a well-draining soap dish rather than letting it sit in standing water.  Keeping your bar high and dry between washes will give you the longest-lasting bar possible.

Love a rich, creamy lather on a loofah? 

Pair your LAW Soap bar with a loofah or shower pouf!  Work the wet bar into your loofah to build a wonderful, creamy, bubbly lather, then set aside to dry between uses.  As a bonus, using a loofah can help you use less soap at a time in the shower - helping your handcrafted bar last even longer.  Who needs liquid soap?!

Oils & Butters ~ All Organic!

Olive Oil

A deeply conditioning oil, rich in fatty acids that helps create a gentle, creamy soap.  It leaves skin feeling soft and nourished while contributing to a mild, moisturizing bar.

Coconut Oil

Creates the big, bubbly lather and cleansing power in handmade soap.  It also helps produce a firmer, longer-lasting bar.

Castor Oil

A little castor oils goes a long way toward creating a rich, creamy, stable lather.  Its fatty-acid composition also contributes to the conditioning feel of the finished soap.

Mango Butter

A rich plant butter containing naturally occurring fatty acids that helps give soap and your skin, a creamy, luxurious feel.  It contributes to the conditioning feel of the finished product.

Shea Butter

Naturally rich in fatty acids, shea butter adds creaminess and conditioning properties to handmade soap and products.  It helps leave skin feeling soft and comfortable after cleansing.

Clays and Powders ~ All Natural!

Kaolin Clay Powder

A gentle, fine-textured clay that can absorb excess oil while giving soap and face masks a smooth, silky texture.  It can also help anchor fragrance and essential oils in a bar.  It is brightening and rejuvenating for all-skin-types, for softer and younger looking skin.

A tight warm tingling sensation and slight redness is normal; discontinue if irritation persists.

French Pink Clay Powder

A mild cosmetic clay valued for its soft texture and natural rosy color.  It gently absorbs surface oils without the intensely drying feel associated with stronger clays.  Suitable for sensitive, mature, & acne-prone skin types for a youthful experience.

Rose Powder

Made from finely ground rose petals, rose powder brings naturally occurring plant compounds and a gentle botanical quality to skincare.  It adds beautiful natural color and a touch of mild exfoliation while giving the skin a soft, smooth, and refreshed feel.

Activated Charcoal

LAW soap uses activated charcoal that is derived from coconut.  It is highly porous and can absorb oils and substances from the skins surface.  In skincare, it provides a deeper-cleansing feel, mild exfoliation, and can be especially appealing for oily or build-up prone skin.

Goat's Milk

Naturally contains fats, proteins, sugars and lactic acid to help create an exceptionally creamy & luxurious lather.  Its natural fat content contributes to a gentle, conditioning, and moisturizing bar.  It helps skin feel soft and conditioned.   Goat's milk is especially loved in handmade soap for people who prefer a creamy, less stripping cleanse.

Beef Tallow

Rich in fatty acids, tallow creates a creamy, conditioning lather that leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished after cleansing.  It also produces a naturally hard, long-lasting bar, helping handmade soap hold up beautifully through repeated use.  Tallow supports the skin barrier and seals in moisture to leave the skin feeling soft, supple, and protected.  It's made a comeback in natural skincare.
